Leading Your Team More Effectively

November 4, 2020 from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm

Speaker: John Bachman

What are the processes of developing effective teams? Most of the literature deals with structuring and organizing groups. However effective and efficient teams need processes that give control to leaders and freedom to team members. This tension can be removed by understanding the psychology and dynamics of groups. The seminar will show how to avoid inevitable conflict with different personality types, develop methods of increasing meaningful engagement in an efficient manner using liberation structures, and create bonding. The symposium will be highly active. You will not be bored, and you will leave excited to return to the workplace to apply your new knowledge.
